Each Phone Cloud Account comes with a voicemail inbox that has its own phone number, also known as a deposit number. Your carrier forwards your phone calls to this number when your call goes to your voicemail, allowing you to utilize a third-party voicemail solution. Phone Cloud Hub uses both standard and conditional call forwarding to forward your calls to your U.S.-based Phone Cloud Hub number. This allows you to:

  1. Customize your greetings
  2. Convert your audio voicemail to text
  3. Receive your voicemail and text to any authorized email address.

Phone Cloud Hub supports both standard call forwarding and conditional call forwarding.


Standard call forwarding redirects all incoming calls to another phone number. This is useful for business phone numbers that are not intended to be answered by a person.

Conditional call forwarding is much more advanced, allowing a number of options for business uses. A phone with conditional call forwarding will ring normally and only forward the call to your voicemail inbox if you do not answer, your phone line is busy, or you otherwise cannot be reached.

All major phone carrier has a feature called conditional call forwarding. It’s a combination of three forwarding features. When your phone is set up for conditional call forwarding, it will ring normally allowing you to answer the phone. Your carrier will forward your call to a number that you have connected (in this case, your Phone Cloud Hub voicemail number) when your phone is:

  • Busy
  • Unanswered
  • Unreachable

Phone Cloud Hub supports most of the carriers in the US, including support for customers using  AT&T Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Metro PCS, Stright Talk, Rogers One, Vonage, and many more.

Phone Cloud Hub’s voicemail has all of the same features as your current voicemail service, with the additional feature that it converts all your messages to text and sends them to your mobile device and/or email with the original audio file attached.

Any message that requires transcription is counted toward your plan. We do not charge per email sent, only by transcribed message. If a caller hangs up before leaving a message, you will not be charged.

Phone Cloud currently supports English-to-text transcription, but will soon be offering support for Spanish, German, French, Russian, and Mandarin.

You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting our customer service team. You will then need to go to setup instruction page to disable the call forwarding on your connected devices.
